AACFSA has successfully implemented various projects that aimed to reach the unreached community through different interventions worth more than 45 million Birr (equivalent to millions of USD) in the past years.
The interventions included empowering women and marginalized people with small business and vocational skills, establishing institutional day care centers, providing educational support, implementing health programs, promoting women empowerment and girls’ education, executing WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) programs, facilitating child sponsorship, constructing schools, and supporting libraries.
Through these interventions, AACFSA was able to improve the lives of the end-users, and it reached over 56,000 target groups in various locations in the most affected areas of Addis Ababa, Oromia, and Amhara regions.
Our organization targets several groups, including:

AACFSA works in partnership with various international and local organizations, including government institutions at different levels such as federal, regional, zonal, and district levels.
The organization funds its projects through donations from multiple donors from the Netherlands, Italy, and the USA as well as individual donors. AACFSA places great importance on maintaining good relationships with its donors, child sponsors, and direct contributors as well as local partners; it is committed to ensuring that its funds are utilized effectively and efficiently. In addition to its partnerships and funding sources, AACFSA is a member of several networks, including CCRDA, PANE, and a network of orphan and vulnerable children. By being a member of these networks, AACFSA can collaborate with other organizations to share best practices, access additional resources, and expand its reach to help more individuals and communities in need.
Established by the founder late Mrs. ALMAZASHEN in 1991 to support children abandoned by loss of their parents by fire arm explosion happened during the downfall of “Derege” regime. . The founder further expand the NGO in full recognition of the magnitude of the problem of women, children and youths in the country.
